In the modern work paradigm, I can’t see why I would bother even report a bug in my employers software that was burning money.
As an employee, I don’t see much in it for me other than not getting fired, so I do the bare minimum.
- p1esk 4y agoAs they asked in the “Office Space” - what would motivate you (to report that bug)? More equity?
- throwawaysleep 4y agoTo be fair, i am not sure there is anything anymore as I do not trust employers. I wouldn't trust that I will be there for any significant length of time. I would basically need 20% of the savings of fixing the bug on my next paycheck.
