The headline is pretty ambiguous, but the text describes banning use of TikTok on devices that are used for state government business (not all Texans' devices).
- jfengel 4y agoYep. It's purely a state government thing, which is eminently reasonable. Many other states and the federal government have done it. It's believable that Abbott would try to ban the app everywhere in Texas, given his desire to ban books that don't conform with his ideology, as well as his party's knee-jerk anti-China stance. But in this case, he's doing something reasonable.
