I love how we demean one person in a society that, on the whole, refuses to provide cheap, accessible, healthcare with high quality outcomes (US healthcare outcomes lag developing nations). Surely, surely, it’s just this one person failing society. We do not say “it is us failing each other” but this person failing us; the temerity of them!
