Apple has been iTempting me but I've resisted simply because on the pixels I can run grapheneOS well beyond what google commits to in terms of updates.
I also like kiwi browser and it's support for chrome extensions.
Regardless, I miss the days when we had more mobile OS diversity. IOS, android, windows phone, BBos, and palms WebOS.

- ZekeSulastin 4y agoI thought GrapheneOS specifically drops support for devices once Google does - they even mention on their FAQ* that the Pixel 4/XL is only still getting releases as a stopgap for users until they can go buy a newer device. * https://grapheneos.org/faq https://grapheneos.org/faq
- freitzkriesler2 4y agoWell I'll be damned. Forgot about that one. Thanks for letting me know!
- jacooper 4y agoThough they will still be realesing new Android versions, even if the device is on extended security support. that matters with the Pixel 6 and 7 series that have such a long security support cycle, but a rather short feature support cycle.
