My anecdotal rebuttal of his anecdotal accusation is that there are plenty of startups where drug culture is non existent, and doing drugs (ignoring 'reasonable' alcohol/nicotine consumption) would be looked down upon. That said, I look forward to substantial evidence being brought into the conversation.
