Why even obsess over a few cents of storage so much?
- danbruc 4y agoIt does not only take up space on disk, you also have to load all that stuff into memory, which costs time and money. You might make your caches less effective which costs performance or more money for larger caches. You have to download updates which cost time and bandwidth and maybe money. Of course that all depends on the exact source and nature of the bloat, but just saying that the disk space is just a couple of cents is probably not adequate.
- notatoad 4y agoaccording to samsung's current pre-order promotion [1], an extra 128GB of storage is a $240 upgrade. that 60GB is worth $120, not pennies. [1] https://www.samsung.com/ca/smartphones/galaxy-s23/buy/ https://www.samsung.com/ca/smartphones/galaxy-s23/buy/
