I was just reading about Digital Turbine over the weekend. That's the company Samsung and others use to conduct real time bidding for which apps are preinstalled (when a new phone is activated). They handle ads for other pieces of bloatware like built-in news feeds as well. I had no idea the bloatware had become so advanced. It sounds like Samsung inflicts plenty of additional damage with their own copies of google's apps.
