Man imagine a text model running local on your device. Plus it doesn't even need to be as good as the state of the art stuff - just "good enough" for the average person to care. Stable diffusion already runs on iPhones (I'm sure android too) albeit slowly - I don't think its unrealistic. Stable diffusion's model is only ~2.4gb pruned. Sure we aren't quite there yet but I think it's totally possible.
