Elon Musk says his workload has reached 120 hours per week
- clouddrover 4y ago> Elon Musk is tired, his back hurts and his mom wants him to get some sleep. Maybe he should try tweeting less.
- krapp 4y agoPoor baby. Oh wait, no. Billionaire manchild. My mistake.
- strawpeople 4y agoWhy does the amount of money someone has lessen the impact of overwork?
- krapp 4y agoIt lessens my capacity for sympathy towards them, because they don't need to work as hard as they do to make a living, they simply do it for the ego and adrenaline rush. And this was the most avoidable situation possible for Elon, notwithstanding how many fires he's putting out that he himself set.
- bitsavers 4y ago"His tenacity has led to superhuman-like accomplishments" Was this written by ChatGPT? No human could possibly be that stupid.
- ggm 4y agoStudies in wartime comprehensively prove over extended hours produce lower productivity overall, with rapid decline in health and quality of output. Maybe Musk needs to learn how to work smarter not longer. Delegate?
- quantified 4y agoPeople are built differently. There may be some adrenaline associated with his positioning. He might be. He's still only working a 3/4 time week. If he said it in a tweet, well, he doesn't expect people to believe him anyway. This apparently was in-person to the wsj. But I'd like independent confirmation.
- rsynnott 4y agoIs he counting the constant inane tweeting? (Sleep deprivation perhaps goes a long way towards explaining that, of course...)
- Zigurd 4y agoI don't think it excuses, for example, amplifying obvious vatnik propaganda: https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1622461270573125632 https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1622461270573125632
