Android overall is a pretty terrible experience. Phone manufacturers will pay developers to make Android worse instead of just doing nothing. But presumably they get back the cash in ads or tracking from doing that.
- WrtCdEvrydy 4y agoThis is why I love the Nothing Phone and my older Pixel 4A. Even my Moto G7 came with a relatively unbothered experience.
- LightHugger 4y agoNo headphone jack, it's not worth buying.
- WrtCdEvrydy 4y agoPixel 4A has one. I didn't even notice the Nothing Phone didn't until you just pointed it out.

- grumpyprole 4y agoFor me, iPhone is a terrible experience, e.g no proper FLAC support and poor Bluetooth codec support.
- MiddleEndian 4y agoI can't say I'm a fan of iPhones either lol
- pessimizer 4y agoApple/Google partisans think that criticism of Apple/Google is a form of praise for Google/Apple that lets them off the hook.
- grumpyprole 4y agoIsn't the split more Apple/Not-apple? The Samsung is perfectly usable without the Google ecosystem.
- grumpyprole 4y agoAs long as we can agree they are both terrible, then all is good :)
