That said, the stimulus bucks disbursed to individuals were absolutely not enough to matter to the macroeconomic picture. It was basically like having a year with two tax return seasons. The PPP loans, the changes in unemployment benefits, the people using home equity to buy garbage they don't need, all had a much bigger impact.
