Well one of the storylines is that these things are coming out of the ocean, so in that sense, telescopes pointed at space aren't going to be of much help.
- mlindner 4y agoThere are meteor detection cameras set up all over the country at various universities that record full sky images 24/7 365 days a year of anything that moves. They're even publicly available.
