- patrickod 15y agoMaybe they don't want to give specifics until things are more solidified. Were it me I'd hate to make an announcement and then have to double-back and disappoint people.
- Tichy 15y agoI haven't played Minecraft before, but I was just about to ask if they have an API. I could see myself programming bots for it, if that is possible.
- jhchabran 15y agoWell there is an API, it's just an unofficial one, with very active developers : - http://bukkit.org/ http://bukkit.org/ - (well made ruby wrapper) https://github.com/enebo/Purugin https://github.com/enebo/Purugin Programming bots should be doable, I've seen plugins that spawned a player that helped you mining.
- fondue 15y agoPlugin channels is the beginning of it. http://dinnerbone.com/blog/2012/01/13/minecraft-plugin-channels-messaging/ http://dinnerbone.com/blog/2012/01/13/minecraft-plugin-chann... Read dinnerbone's blog, he's a key member of the bukkit team.
