Why? I briefly had an interest in learning Q, then looked at some code: https://github.com/KxSystems/cookbook/blob/master/start/buildhdb.q https://github.com/KxSystems/cookbook/blob/master/start/buil... Why not just build what you need with C/arrow/parquet?
