‘It’s So Hard to Park’: Entitled Drivers Have Been Whining for 100 Years
- zamadatix 4y agoRegardless how right the actual points included are if you spend more energy telling me about how you feel about it vs letting the information talk to it it’s going to drive me away from agreeing. I don’t know if that’s just because I don’t want to read that kind of pandering or because it makes it doubtful the full story is being presented but either way it’s not something that makes me want to support and share the content.

- Arnt 4y agoAnti-car? Remember, cars don't vote. You may say that drivers vote, but drivers are a minority. (I'd guess they are a majority in the suburbs that border New York City, but people across the border vote across the border, too.) When a minority of the voters wants to use real estate or another resource, it has to make a suggestion that attracts enough voters to get a majority.
- steponlego 4y agoWhat country were you originally from?
- Arnt 4y agoI'm born in Norway, in what you might call an extremely rural area where parking is no problem at all. I now live in Munich, in the central part where suburbanites want to park and we who live here don't want them to. One size does not fit all.
