- simonblack 4y agoChina alone has more manufacturing capacity and more population than the whole of the 'West'. The West can't win this one. But why does the West have to 'win' anyway? That's jousting at windmills: a waste of time, lives, and resources.

Also they seem to be still holding a grudge from how the west (mostly UK, but also some other western powers and Russia) behaved in that area around 1800s[0]. This implies that if they win, they will subjugate us. I don't mind being wrong about this, but it doesn't look good.
