EDIT: spelling and attempted to adjust elegance
- giancarlostoro 4y agoNot really Proton on Steam runs all my games just fine on Linux.
- BirAdam 4y agoI use an Intel Arc A380 and on Linux it was using DXVK from day one, and therefore the performance issues Winders folks had weren’t a problem for me at all. It did get seriously better with kernel 6.2 recently though.
- suprjami 4y agoSpot the guy who hasn't used Proton yet. It runs Windows games better than Windows does.
- neogodless 4y agoI'm a recent (mostly) convert. So far Anno 1800 has an issue where multiplayer games only connect if I play on Windows (but single player runs flawlessly in Linux Mint.) Every other game I've played has been great. StarCraft II (in Bottles), Conan, Valheim, Northgard (so far.) PC gaming on Linux is not perfect, but it's really damn good. (This is on a Ryzen 7 + Geforce RTX laptop)
- giancarlostoro 4y agoI was a little afraid when I opened up Legion TD 2 if the multiplayer would work or not, but sure enough it did, no issues! I was genuinely surprised to be proven wrong on my worries.
