- ggm 4y agoBased in part on the cohort of.. sex doll purchasers. I would suggest it's informing, but more informing on that score in the margins, than the mainstream. He does apply his logic to women's views on heteronormative beauty, based on romance novel covers. Far more illustrative images than needed to make his point but I guess he knows his audience. If he'd said the fashion and beauty industry has a distorting effect on body image and face mod filters are not helping, I don't think he would have been off beam.
