I'm not surprised at all at this point and even if it's getting worse for reasons like that. Look around job posts today! Many CTOs can be incompetent. I'm an early adopter of X tool and encountered all the gotcha, and then I see these technical leads put X tech on their stack which they will regret later.
- huqedato 4y agoBesides this (incompetent heads), it seems nevertheless that will follow a wave of lay-offs in the IT sector after the ChatGPT "revolution", at least in this region. This tool put -cost reductions- ideas in many clam heads. I'm hearing too many rumors around not to be true. Not only devs, but also designers, testers and data analysts.
