When the price of a product yo-yos up and down at the whim of the manufacturer, depending on demand and market conditions, that says to me that the manufacturer is trying to extract maximum profit, instead of just adding a reasonable margin to the cost of manufacture. That's a company I won't do business with. Their predatory attitude towards pricing no doubt extends to other facets of their business, such as telling the truth about specs and features, or customer service. It says loud and clear that they're not consumer friendly, to say the least. It says that they have contempt for their customers.
