  And probably also Linux. Windows was ported to quite a few platforms, but none of them mattered except x86

    OpenVMS bet fairly big on Itanium too.

    Debian, Redhat, and SuSE all supported it for several versions. I have Debian on mine.

    Actually, I don’t think so. I think I did user a prototype Monterey internally at IBM though. I did an internship there testing JVMs back in the day.
