Like all other models backed by LLM, Kagi summarizer can process text in other languages quite well. I let it summarized for me the SPIEGEL interview with Weizenbaum and Heafner 45 years ago, and it did a splendid job. The summary was presented in English, but the highlights are captured in German. Of course, it missed some (subjective) important points like during the discussion about the principal transferability of human experience (and knowledge): we human have our inner values and processes, which we could not express (easily) in our languages.
