Quite a few people here don't love the beatles. That's fine, they're entitled to their opinion, but I think they were fabulous. Every single album they made was good, all 13 of them, and their singles too. It's quite extraordinary consistency. Try writing a 3 minute pop song some time, it's not so easy. Why were they so hated? Easy, why was every popular boy band hated!? They were popular and got the girls, people hate that. Look at the response to Justin Bieber, or any pop star. It's often irrational hatred.
