It has a horrifically long initial sync for me (hours of silence and no apparent activity), but yep. I do not miss the official client in the slightest after switching - it has been significantly faster and better-behaved in every imaginable way. In particular, I no longer have to stare at Dropbox and wonder why it hasn't uploaded my tiny plain text file change for several hours. Which I've had to do regularly for the past couple years. Maestral consistently uploads within seconds.
