There is no way that I am letting my kids have unattended access to youtube. Without careful shepherding its a gateway to some really quite nasty stuff. Not to mention the fucking adverts for stuff. I get pestered enough for stuff they see in advert breaks for the TV. We lost the battle with netflix et al for my kids years ago. But they have a time limit because other nothing else gets done. More specifically, they are either watching stuff on the screen or doing something, never both.
