Normal wine works fine for most games, Steam's overlay layer frequently causes problems. I get the feeling they are sort of embracing and extending.
- kaba0 4y agoWhy would they do that? It is their monetary incentive to have a healthy wine ecosystem. Also, my experience is very much the opposite of yours — even very new games will work basically without a fuss with proton.
