This legislation seems so absurd, I can't see how it will pass. I can't think of any reason why a school would need to know this history of a student's menstrual cycle for the purpose of participating in sports. Anyone happen to know how the legislation is being justified?

  Better to demand deeply personal information on all women rather than let a trans woman secretly compete in high school athletics with an unfair advantage right? God forbid we let someone play a sport with their peers.
