- m348e912 4y agorogerkirkness is correct, too much vitamin D over time can lead to complications such as hypercalcemia (a build up of calcium in the blood) This condition is fairly rare, and can be partly mitigated with vitamin K2. According to this paper, (adult) patients treated with vitamin D toxicity took doses ranging from 600,000IU daily to 60 Million IU over several months. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6115827/ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6115827/
