Type faster and more comfortably with ZipChord
- elil17 4y agoI've been using ZipChord for a few months now and I have found it to work extremely well as of the 2.0 release (which includes a filter that better distinguishes between character entry and chords). It is now at the point where it "just works." https://github.com/psoukie/zipchord https://github.com/psoukie/zipchord
- amalgamated_inc 4y agoCould you briefly take this typing test: https://livetyper.com/ https://livetyper.com/ And post the WPM you achieved?
- elil17 4y ago67 - I would typically get 50-60 on tests like this prior to using the software. Also, it is not really a fair comparison since my library of chords is focused on words I typically use for my work. I would do better on a text related to my chord dictionary.
- amalgamated_inc 4y agoThanks for testing! I suppose that was you I was racing then ;)
- elil17 4y agoTried a few times lol - wanted to see if I could quickly come up with some new chords for some of the words in that, but it is not so fast to learn a new chord
