As a father of two boys, yes every baby and parent is different. You not only have to take care of baby but also your partner. That is a mistake that a lot of people ignore.
In my case, both of my kids slept a lot during first 6 months or so. First baby was easier as we didn't had another child to take care of.
Second baby, was a lot more work. We felt exhausted all the time during our parental leaves. After 6 months, we both worked from home as pandemic was still happening. Then we used one of my company's benefit to hire babysitters for really cheap for a few weeks. (Check with your company if they offer subsidized emergency childcare benefit). This way we had some time to adjust to both of us working at the same time.
In the mornings, I was responsible for kids. Later in afternoon, mom was. It helped with focused work and scheduling meetings. Of course, emergencies will happen and you will have to take a meeting while feeding the baby.
