- eklitzke 4y agoI was given a similar interview problem in one of my first job interviews (I think at Google?) 15 or so years ago. I don't remember the exact question, but I do remember that I needed to use Newton's method to solve it. However I was a math major in university, and I remember the interviewer pointing that out, so I felt like it was fair game.
