Agreed. Convincing folks who think that of anything else is quite difficult. I’ll promote here one of my favorite reads, The Technological Society by Jacques Ellul. It feels very apropos here as we embark on an new smorgasbord of technologies that can do us harm and good. There will always be people who want to develop technologies even if they are harmful. We need not only ask ourselves “what is the benefit”, but “at what cost?”
