Apache Apisix: Replaces Nginx in Lua
- meitham 4y agoI don’t know if I am biased towards Nginx, but every feature in their comparison page makes it sounds like Nginx is actually better! For example a config file to me fits better in GitOps, compared to a state machine fiddled with REST API! I don’t buy the argument of Nginx not supporting hot reload! Like a good unix citizen SigHib would do a config reload without a downtime.
- erulabs 4y agoYeah to suggest nginx needs downtime to reload is a little bit of an instant disqualifier for the author… That said, config files are a thing of the past in the new Ingress controller dominated world!
