I upgraded to Windows 11 on purpose, I don't quite understand the complaints about it. You need TPM 2 and Secure Boot anyway for security (no, password-based encryption is not secure).
- Gigachad 4y agoHow is password based encryption not secure? The hardware based encryption used on windows and macos doesn't seem to really do anything and is always used in combination with password based encryption. Seems to be more of a "it's free to add so why not, and it might be useful to stop brute force cracking the password"
