But ... this is right. It's three years old, it's been written down to $0 (ish) for tax reasons. $1k is the book value. I don't know why you'd trade it in to be honest. The Mac Pro is all about high bandwidth shovelling of data across PCIe for edit suites. I don't think there's any real replacement.
