Wouldn't this be the case of clean recipe websites just being rated lower as their content seeks like duplication while these long-winded websites have a lot of original content even though that original content is not what you are searching for. Like, a clean website about how to reverse sear a steak has maybe like 5 sentences and other clean websites write it the same for 90% (how many ways can you explain it?) but a website full of fluff has 200 sentences that are more original making the content look unique while they still describe how to reverse sear a steak.
