Hitchmap: Like Yelp, but for Hitchhiking Spots
- troutbum 4y agoI hitchhiked over 6000 miles in 2014 across Europe and South America. I used hitchwiki.org pretty extensively to find spots to wait at. Hitchhiking is definitely one of the funnest ways to travel if you have the time - you start every day not really knowing exactly where you will end up. I was once picked up hitchhiking by a Chilean family and they ended up inviting me on their family roadtrip vacation and I traveled with them for 5+ days
