Ask yourself what bothers you and how you can change it.
For me, quitting my phd was one of the pivotal moments. I realized that a) it wouldn't get me where I wanted and b) the work environment wasn't fun at all.
- theGeatZhopa 4y agoC) when it's not appreciated, let alone, even known, how you do your work and what you do as your work. D) change in management/ life that actually degrades your social status/ job's position @OP: The pivotal comes automatically, when you realize you're stuck. If you think about "what's the proper moment to pivote" then you're not stuck.
