Workday is terrible software, they only got away with it because there wasn’t competition for awhile.
That’s changed and they should be making deeper cuts and thinking about how they are building things.
- throwayyy479087 4y agoSecond. Workday is a true POS and their Product team should be canned and rebuilt. They need to have a deep dive to work out how a once-great user experience turned into ... Workday.
- iamjake648 4y agoI've never had any issues with it from the employee side of things. What are the big gripes?
- iancmceachern 4y agoIt's super confusing. Basic tasks are buried behind weird menus and in little pockets, everything is a workaround and the UI workflow makes no sense.
- andsoitis 4y agoWho is their competition now?
- mc32 4y agoIt seems like all the big players are pretty crappy to deal with --then comes the deployment costs... oh, boy!
- LinuxBender 4y agoWhat things did you run into? The only things I ran into were fields that were locked to the HR admin that I think I should have been able to edit. I could still submit the change but it had to be reviewed by HR.
