I'm not sure this story adds up the way people are saying. From 2018 to 2023, Statista puts the UK's GDP from 2.904 to 3.3558 trillion (after .6% contraction from 2022's estimate), and the EU from 15.982 to 18.319. The UK grew ~15% while the EU grew ~15%, no?
