Just curious - was this a result of your team ‘building in public’ (i.e., sharing regular updates publicly on Twitter or other communities as you build)? I’ve seen more and more cases of this happening when founders build in public, especially if they share revenue numbers. Regardless, sorry to hear about this happening to you…
