I guess I am too old to not trust such systems and not old enough to really benefit from them. I have a feeling, that Tesla is too occupied cutting corners with Tesla vision and saving couple hundreds removing ultrasonic sensors and radars. While others catch up and move forward. I guarantee, that radar had zero adoption if it had no benefit for all other car manufacturers. I observed radar evolution closer because by accident the lab near by was characterizing first 77 GHz automotive radar parts when I was an intern couple decades ago.
