- gabrielsroka 4y agoWe kept hens for several years. They were amazing pets. Our young son really enjoyed the company. And the eggs were delicious, much better than eggs that we bought at the store.
- hd95489 4y agoCommercial agriculture hates backyard herbs because they are another incubator for diseases. Having lots of backyard flocks ensures that you can’t control or eradicate any major outbreaks. That being said birds are expensive, you are never going to get your feed costs down to 2$ a dozen eggs to match commercial costs.
