Both me and my wife hate working from home. She is forced to but I elected to go into the office once it was available. The work life balance is better, sure, but my productivity plummeted and I was stuck doing nothing for hours every day waiting to hear back from coworkers. The stress involved especially during a recession is more than the benefit of no commute for me.
