Ukraine Latest: Biden Says US Will Not Be Sending F-16 Warplanes

• resuresu 4y ago
Not even grandpa in chief is dumb enough waste our aircraft. Still just sending a handful of stripped down abrahams tanks/coffins. Those cost a pretty penny but oh well, our roads and bridges are already crumbling so i guess we can live with a few more potholes.

It'll more likely be Poland or other European NATO members that give Ukraine the F-16s, and in exchange they'll get upgraded jets of their own. The $100 million in funding to train Ukrainian pilots already passed[1]. "Nothing is true until it has been officially denied." Looks like the US will be sending F-16 warplanes. :)

Which of course brings the question: why is US prolonging the conflict by delaying the delivery of weapons necessary to end it?

Your question assumes that there's unused logistics capacity, which I think might not be the case.
