While this is true its also not moving the needle forward. HTML and CSS are great at building views, but you know what is easier to work with, JSX. All of these specialized tools do their job well, but its empirically easier and faster to just work in a single language to accomplish your project goals if at all possible. Node didn't get popular because it was the "best" framework for apis. It got popular because a bunch of people who already knew JS could start writing server code. Nothing trumps developer experience, and I hardly know anyone who could honestly say SQL is their favorite language.
