History of Unix Manpages (2020)
- DiggyJohnson 4y agoI've loved the form factor and simplicity of manpages since I learned how to use `less` and that I could search via the '/' command, around 8 years ago now. Just finished The Unix Programming Environment (1984), and this page felt like a natural extension. Write your own manpages. And do so with confidence. This article was originally published in 2011, but the footer shows it was updated by a different author in 2020, hence the titular date.
