Caveman Science Fiction
- JoeDaDude 4y agoCute. I am reminded of the short story "Tower of Babylon" by Ted Chiang in which he writes science fiction/speculative fiction about ascending a fictitious Tower of Babel as it would have been imagined centuries ago. https://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/title.cgi?40853 https://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/title.cgi?40853
- amadeuspagel 4y agoInteresting. The biblical story itself seems like an example of early science fiction, an early anxiety about the power of technology.
- somat 4y agoFor what it's worth the comic is Dresden Codak by Arryn Diaz. It started out as random one off's and somehow found a story along the way. Very well drawn with fun science fiction. Highly recommended. http://dresdencodak.com/ http://dresdencodak.com/
