About a decade back, I had built a Chrome extension[1] to search MDN from Chrome address bar and navigate directly to the reference without opening a search page. It has slowly been gaining users over the years organically and there are enough users that I have to spend a couple of dollars to keep the (Google) search API up. It doesn't have millions of users, but I'm glad that few thousands of users that use it find it valuable in their lives.
