It's annoying that one time pricing feels worse than recurring. Roam is $15/month, so much cheaper!
- kstrauser 4y agoWell, IMO Roam is also priced out of consideration, considering that Obsidian is free (or I think $50/year for business use). But in general, I don’t mind subscriptions as a way to safely try some software.
- alexvoda 4y agoAnd that LogSeq is Open Source. And there are several other options too. The space is crowded.
- rchaud 4y agoI'm the opposite, I can't stand the idea of paying forever. $220 is on the high side, compared to SimpleMind which is around £30 (one-time).
